Living in the moment is the way to be…
Is our future already planned out?Does fate really exist? In fact, does the future exist? Or does the future not exist until it happens?
I have been programmed to think that these occurrences and possibilities in my life that are going to happen or are bound to happen are there already, but it is a matter of getting there. But, in order to get there, you have to go through all these experiences and actions to reach that instant, that moment.Is time linear?
I have come to believe that the future cannot exist until it happens.I think nothing exists but this very moment. Manifestation of life is from one moment onto the next. There are endless possibilities. Whatever action you take creates a ripple effect, but it all happens in the moment. So how can the future exist?Hence, the future does not exist. It is just manifestation and by the time you get to the “anticipated” future, it becomes the present. It is always just the present that exists. Everything ultimately becomes the present.
That is the problem in how I look at life. I’ve noticed it in myself that i feel that I’m trapped in psychological time —past and future. I am hardly ever present. Harboring on the past,the “what ifs”, and worrying and fretting about the future complicates life too much. I need to think in the moment and the present in order to gain that control of my life. The future does not exist yet why are we so concerned about it? The past already occurred, yet why do we stress and hang on to it when it is dead and gone?
I will try to live by that philosophy.I always worry so much about the future
and cannot seem to let go of the past. We can make our anticipated “future” so much better by surrendering to the present and doing what is the necessary NOW to make that anticipated “tomorrow” which will be our present a better moment to be living in.Thinking and worrying about the future while overlooking the present is useless and makes us miss opportunities and life pass us by so swiftly all the while not taking the marvels that life has to offer. Life is beautiful. Not only look at the beauty of life, but the life in the beauty. The intricacy and details, such as a lady bug flapping its wings or the way the sunshine’s ray of light hits the gravel concrete. The beauty is sometimes in the little details or what is in front of us that we always miss or ignore. The grandeur, the splendor, the energy of life, and the simplicity of it all…It is the RIGHT NOW and all that it has to offer in the now.Take it all in and all the marvels of life.
